On October 9-13, Assistant Minister Ren Hongbin led a joint investigation team of the Ministry of Commerce, the Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the General Administration of Customs and the State Administration of Taxation to investigate border trade policies in Heilongjiang Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. During this period, the symposiums of provincial and municipal government departments and border trade enterprises were held, and the on-the-site investigations were conducted in Suifenhe and Dongxing border trade zones, commodity markets, comprehensive bonded zones, border (cross-border) economic cooperation zones, and import and export processing enterprises.
